International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Reinforcing Iron Workers - Local 771Members of the Iron Workers, Local Union 771, perform some, or all of the following Job Duties: Erect and weld structural steel framework for bridges, dams, towers, industrial plants, hospitals, schools and shopping centers. In addition to erecting structural steel, Iron Workers are also involved in concrete reinforcing (rebar and wire mesh) precast concrete, industrial plant maintenance, machinery and equipment, rigging and installation, dragline construction and curtain wall installation. Apprenticeship is 3 years or 6000 hours.
